Extracted data is coded using standard medical terminologies: LOINC codes for lab results, RxNorm for medications, ICD-10 and SNOMED CT for conditions, CVX for vaccines, and CPT for procedures. This means your data is interoperable and searchable by standard medical codes.

If OCR extracts zero characters (e.g., a completely blank image), the pipeline stops early and marks the document for review. For partially readable documents, we extract what we can and flag uncertain results.
